I went to my cousin’s wedding this weekend, which was about 8 hours away. A total of 16 hours of driving between Friday night and Sunday morning, with about 4 hours total for the wedding and reception. Needless to say, I totally fell off the health wagon this weekend. Where else are you going to eat along a Tennessee highway but fast food? And they had these really amazing little lemon tarts at the reception.
But these things happen, and I’m not going to beat myself up over it. I’m starting the Arbonne 7 Day Detox today, which always helps me lose a few pounds and is a great way to kick off a healthier routine. And now I’m off to Jazzercise. I haven’t weighed in yet today, but hopefully the damage isn’t too severe!

Road trips are the worst. Weddings are the second worst. But for both — it might be worth it to explore your mantra WWSCD… what would a skinny chick do on the road… at a wedding? Tell me! There will always be events that will threaten to derail us — we have to figure out how to conquer them. We can figure that out, can’t we? I’m still working on the work stress thing… and the work boredom thing. WWSCD? Not sure yet, but desperate to know.
