Stepped on the scale and screamed “Oh damn!”

No loss, no gain – so SAME I AM.

 

I tried so hard, I didn’t cheat

Well, once (twice) – girls’ gotta eat

 

I thought I’d lost a pound or two

A plateau so soon, what to do? 

 

Keep at it, don’t quit, I know, I know. 

Eat less, move more, take it slow. 

 

I’ll lose the weight if I don’t quit

18 weeks to get fab and fit. 

 

Though I realize I should be happy that I didn’t gain, I did get a little discouraged and helped myself to some Hershey’s Kisses Friday afternoon (work stress didn’t help).  I kept up with my workouts this weekend, but could’ve been better at the food thing. 

 

Keep at it, don’t quit… I know, I know. 

 

Week 3 — ‘Da Rules:

  • Brush my teeth after meals.
  • Eat two fruits daily.
  • Run/walk for 30 minutes 3x per week (TRT 16/30 minutes).
  • M-F lunches – 1 salad and 1 healthy turkey sandwich.
  • 20 pushups per day (1-2 real ones).
  • Ab workout 3x per week.
  • Go soda free for one day per week. 
  • New Rule:  add one 10-15-minute good walk M-F (reduce stress this way).

    Love the poem…and the “rules”! Keep up the good work. I’ll send you a button to wear to work: SALADS DON’T SUCK! Maybe it will encourage you to enjoy the salad 2 or more times a week! XO
