OK, I’ve been pretty positive to date, right? So indulge me just this once…The salad I had for lunch sucked royally!
I’m trying to be good — both with my health and with my pocketbook. So I took some lettuce, added a cucumber from my neighbor’s garden, and a plop of the homemade hummus the hubby made this weekend. Two days ago, the hummus was awesome! He mixed basil in from my herb garden, and it was so yummy. But today, it just didn’t work.
What I REALLY wanted was a cup of cold cucumber cream soup and a pimento cheese sandwich from the local deli. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. But that’s $8 and 800 calories that I don’t need to spend. Ugh. Guess I’ll have an Arbonne shake to tie me over.
