I’m questioning the wisdom of my August 14 post. Not the honesty — that’s still important. But the decision to not count those first five pounds I lost prior to the site going live. While I got down to 163, I’m now hovering around 165, and it’s really frustrating. The truth is, I was 168 when I really started, but the site hadn’t gone live yet. So technically I’ve lost 3 pounds, but based on my  August 14 post, I’ve gained 2.  So what do you think? I’m taking votes on this.

Have I been working my hardest? No. But I have been definitely working on it — Jazzercise three times a week, avoiding (almost) all sweets and processed foods, etc. But it’s frustrating. Maybe this is just my kick in the pants to get more serious!

You lost 3! Definitely lost 3! And I love the picture posts. They inspire me. Especially the hippo.
Keep up the good work, Jen. And you’re right. It just gets harder after 40. ;-) XO

Just focus on the end result. Let’s face it — you’ll be pretty pleased if you make it to 148 by Christmas or 143 by New Years. The effort involved remains the same.
