New weightloss strategy — cram your schedule so full with physically demanding activities that you get tons of exercise but don’t have time to eat. That’s what I tried out this weekend, and it worked! On Saturday I worked our Trick or Trunk Halloween event at church and was in charge of the food, including all the shopping, preparation, set up, serving and clean up. Luckily I was blessed with a couple of great volunteers. But I was totally exhausted when it ended at 6 pm, and I realized that I’d hardly eaten anything all day.
Saturday we went for lunch after church and I chose a salad! Of course, I also had two potato skins, but it was so much better than the cheeseburger and fries that I usually get.
Now if I could just get rid of the Halloween candy that seems to be laying around everywhere in my house. It’s pretty hard to resist!
