I actually did pretty good during Thanksgiving. I only went back for seconds on sweet potatoe casserole and stuffing, and had very small first-servings of everything else. Yes, I went kind of wild on the frozen fruit salad, but that’s ok. It was my mom’s specialty that I took over when she died 14 years ago, and I only make it for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I also used reduced fat Kool Whip, so I’m not beating myself up about it.

All in all, I’m only a pound or two above where I was before. Started my Arbonne detox today and have Jazzercise tomorrow, so I’m sure I’ll bounce back quickly.

Quick update on progress…I’ve only lost about 10 pounds so far, but I feel great! I keep getting compliments on how I look and I’m fitting into things I haven’t been able to wear in awile, so I’m pretty happy. I’m going to keep working on it in December and try to get as close to my goal as I can. I’m not rocking it as well as Cheryl, but I’m getting there!

Thinking about you. Hope you’re feeling better. Nothing like having the flu to refuel weight-loss efforts (!). Not that I recommend that… I just remember thinking all through my 20s whenever I got sick… “At least I feel skinny.” Ahhhh, our 20s. Remember those?
