New month. New day. New start.
I know I’ve said this before, but I’m getting my ass in gear. It’s Nov. 2 — just 9 weeks until our goal. I’m not doing so well on the 20 lbs in 20 weeks, but I’m not going to beat myself up over it. I’m starting fresh today, and I WILL DO THIS! New rules:
- I will lose 2 pounds before the tree in my backyard loses all its leaves. It’s already about half empty, and it’s this gorgeous yellow/orange/red with still a few flecks of green. Let’s hope it’s not a windy day!
- NO MORE HALLOWEEN CANDY! We didn’t have as many trick-or-treaters this year, so there’s tons of candy laying around. I’m not going to eat one more single piece beginning right now. None of it is really that good anyway. (I’m also going to take the local dentist up on their offer and make my kids turn in their candy for $5. They can go shopping!)
- Nothing short of swine flu will keep me from Jazzercise. I’ve been letting work get in the way and I’m missing out on my exercise — a truly vital part of losing weight. But I’m putting my foot down now. No more!
- I’m having my Arbonne shakes for breakfast AND lunch. Unless I have a biz lunch, then I’ll get a salad. (Does this one sound familiar?)
By Friday, I should be down two pounds. Cross your fingers for me!
