If you are reading this blog, you know I’ve been trying to lose weight, but losing weight isn’t always easy. Cheryl and I are trying to lose 20 lbs in 20 weeks so we can enter the 40s looking hot and feeling awesome! She’s been doing great, me, not so great.
So I go to weigh myself before Jazzercise today, and my heart just sank. Yesterday I was hovering just slightly below 160, which is a place I haven’t been in a long, long, long time. So when I hopped on today, it was right back to that hashmark between the 10s. Back to 165! I couldn’t believe it!
But then I looked closer, and noticed it was to the LEFT of the 160 mark, not to the right. Could that possible be? Could I have suddenly jumped from 160 to 156ish? I got off, got back on. Got off, got back on. Rubbed my eyes and tried it one more time. Yup! I’m defintely square in the middle of the 150s!
Trying to think back to when I was that weight again, and the best I can remember is when we were living in Miami before my Mom died of breast cancer. That was 16 years ago! So I’m off to Jazzercise and will DEFINITELY be a good girl today with the diet!!!!

Hey, found your site by accident doing a search on Yahoo but I’ll definitely be coming back. As for your post… I will agree with a lot of what you’ve said but wouldn’t it be just as easy to move on? I mean why screw around with your quality of life if you don’t have to?

Hmmm, good point. Maybe Oreos aren’t really the devil? (At least not the Double Stuffs!)
