Haven’t been on in awhile, so it’s no surprise that I seem to have gained a few pounds. Not exactly sure how I did that. I had the flu all last week and didn’t think I was eating hardly anything. But apparently, the scale is telling me something different. No worries though. Once you get your body working the right way and your metabolism is back in line, it doesn’t take much to get back to that regular weight.
I’ll be back at 158 within a few days. The hard part is losing more than that. I’m aiming for getting down to 153 by Derby. For you non-Louisvillians out there whose calendar does not revolve around Derby, it’s held the first Saturday in May, which this year is May 1. If I can get to 153, I will be thinner than I’ve been in I-don’t-want-to-say-how-many years, and I’ll probably fit in those cute capris I bought three years ago by mailorder but have never been able to wear!
